Hello Nadine and Henry, First le me congratulate you on your excellent web-site, it is superb! All that information and tips are worth lots of dollars!!! I also wanted to ask your opinion (if you happen to know this place) about the hotel SEA GARDEN. We (meaning: me my mom and husband and 4 kids ages 9,6,3 and 18months)will be visiting Mazatlan from June/08/2008 to June/22/2008 and plan on staying there. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Good luck on your beautiful life and may God bless you... Lily and Peter Alejandro.
My husband and I have been to mexico many times. Never have I found such a well rounded over all view of a city.I am thrilled to be reading this before our up coming trip in August. We have never been to Mazatlan, and I am surprising my husband for his 50th Birthday.I have a question or two if I may. We our looking for leather goods, boots, hats, vests, etc. Looking not for the kind of leather in the states, but the kind we found in matamoras which is right over the border in brownsville. Is it possible to find some here. We were in puerto vallarta and were very disapointed buy what we found they were like the harley shops up here and fairly pricey. The other question is freshly caught fish for lunch or dinner where would we go, and can you get good lobster, but priced reasonable. Great job on the information again given in this article. I need look no further you have fully answered all my questions. The city sould be thanking you, you have done them a great service!!!!! Thank you Toni P.S. as I get closer to the time to leave I hope if I have anymore questions I could return for your advise.

I got tons of information for my visit to Mazatlan in two weeks (first time). And had a lot of fun while reading it. Me and my husband are mexican and we couldnŽt agree more on the dangers at the beach (souvenir vendors and timeshare salesmen) my husband had a great laugh so we decided to tell you that we think you are oficially mexican. Thanks for this wonderful site and hopefully weŽll say hi on the beach. If youŽre walking my kids will look for your doggies.
Hello Henry I am wanting to invest again in Mazatlan, however I was taken by Isla Mazatlan. What is the real deal on buying in Mazatlan. How do we know we will not get taken again.
My wife and I were planning on having extensive dentistry work done by Dr. Mackey at the Mexican Dental Vacation office, but now he has health problems and has returned to the states. There office manager has recommended Dr. Antonio Gutierrez who comes highly recommended by Canadian and U.S. residents living in Mazatlan and he has his own office there. Have you heard of him? We hope to have an appointment with him on Feb. 21, 2008. We would appreciate any info or feedback you may have on him. Thank you.
This is the best Mazatlan site I've seen. Thanks for taking such good care care of us tourists. I now know just what I want to do while in Mazatlan and won't waste my time and money wondering where to go and what to eat. I have a couple of questions perhaps someone can answer. Is the restaurant information up to date? Also, I would like to load the coordinates of some locations into my gps unit. The maps indicate the raw data is available. How do I get it? Thanks.
Great Site! Thank you both for all of your time, work and interest in helping others. You may have forgotten to mention one thing - SINGLE LIFE - for those considering retirement to Mazatlan. I saw no reference to that issue. As a long standing Mexico lover and traveler, I have finally decided to make the leap and move down permanently. Chosing the right area is the final issue.... Have always loved your area, mainly due to the fantastic billfishing. What is your advice to single ( age early 50's) financially secure women making the move, aside from the competition of the beautiful spanish women...lol. Any info would be appreciated as I have only traveled to Mexico with a now non existing male partner. Thanks once again, Jane

Nadine and Henry I really enjoy your website. I view it often, and use you tips and coupons! We have been coming to Maz for almost 10 years with some friends. Unfortunately we purchased a unit at Marina Del Rey years ago. Do you know who we could contact regarding some problems we are having with the terms of our contract and the management there? Since we are usually unable to book ur unit (even with a floating time) we have been staying at the Playa Mazatlan the last few times. Do you have other places that you recommend? Our friends require that we stay on the beach in the Golden Zone. Any suggestions? Thanks for your invaluable info! Stacy
