You should probably start out with the brief step by step HowTo I've written, and ignore the KwikiFormatting rules until you want to do something fancy. They are actually quite simple, but you can save them for later. Feel free to make mistakes and try out crazy ideas in the SandBox, which is meant for just that kind of stuff.
